Mission
A collaboration between Rachel Pritzlaff and Beth Graczyk, Leztwirl queers a meeting of contemporary and gogo dance. They are a renegade dance duo, often showing up spontaneously in places where the rigor of quick-paced synchronicity might spark joy, community, and pleasure. Whether it be a sapphic supper club, a pride march, or an L-word re-watching party (season 6 optional) Leztwirl aims to get the bodies in the room moving, finding sexy and sensual exchange featuring music scores by female-identified pop artists. The Leztwirl duo offers the power of their physical bodies to amplify the energy of the room. P.S. They are patiently waiting for their L-word debut in an episode featuring DANCE at the Planet! Holler at us!

Bio (combined)
Beth and Rachel have been dancing accumulatively for 55 years. Based between Astoria and Brooklyn, the twirlers graduated with honors from Connecticut College and University of Washington earning degrees in dance, gender and women’s studies and molecular biology. Relocating to New York 7 years ago, they have taught dance at Rivertown Dance Academy and worked as a research specialist at Rockefeller University. They met in the studio where they quickly fell into unison and haven’t looked back.
